A. 15-second questions – 2 points each

1.) What is 14 more than one-half of 60?

Answer: 44

2.) What number is missing in 7, 11, 15, __ , 23, 27?

3.) Nicole is 7 years old today. In what year was she born?

C. 1-minute questions – 5 points each

1.) A rectangular garden is 28 m long and 18 m wide. If you walk around it twice, how many meters will that be?

2.) Mother had ten 5-peso coins and six 10-peso coins. She gave Tom P35 for his allowance. How much was left of Mother’s money?

3.) Oranges cost 3 for P 25 and apples cost P 15 each. How much money do I need for 9 oranges and 4 apples?
