1.) If 1 megabyte is equal to 10^6 bytes and 1 gigabyte is equal to 10^9 bytes, how many gigabytes are there in 1 megabyte?

5.) In a pie chart that shows the monthly family expenditures on different items, the central angle of the sector representing the expenses on food is 144^\circ. How much is spent on food if the monthly family income is Php22 000?

1.) Each student in a class of 40 has an active account on at least one of the following social networking sites: Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp. Thirty students are active on Facebook, 20 on Instagram, and 17 on WhatsApp. If 13 students are active on both Facebook and Instagram, 7 on both Instagram and WhatsApp, and 5 on all three sites, how many students are active on either Facebook or Instagram but not on WhatsApp?

1.) On January 1, 2019, the NASA New Horizons spacecraft returned a sharp image of the farthest object ever explored by a spacecraft. The image consists of two spheres, one smaller than the other, joined together like a giant snowman. Scientists called the smaller sphere Thule and the bigger sphere Ultima. If the volume of Ultima is three times the volume of Thule, how many times is the diameter of Ultima bigger than the diameter of Thule?

2.) On a quiz, the mean of the scores of five students is 13.6. If the highest score is deleted, the mean of the four remaining scores is 12.5. Find the highest score?

3.) In an isosceles triangle, the measure of the exterior angle adjacent to one of the base angles is 115^\circ.
